The UnderSea originally entered service in 1968 as Dr. Perry's submarine tender for Perry Oceanographic. As the Undersea Hunter, this rugged and brave ship became one of the most famous diving boats in the world, voyaging out to Cocos Island and in IMAX excursions around the South Pacific. Nautilus Dive Adventures gave a massive shipyard refit to the ship, which included: expanding the hull out to 105 feet, a new superstructure and enlarged sun deck, a bulbous bow, and a stability system. Intimate Groups - just 19 divers combined with Nautilus spaciousness and comfort and a huge dive deck and water level platform. Huge Camera tables - ample space for everybody to get their photo gear ready before diving. Strong - heavy steel construction with stabilization designed for ocean crossings. ISM Saftey Management System. Safe - first safety, designed with sprinkles, emergency exits, night watchman.Legendary - the UnderSea may look different these days, but she still has the same heart and spirit that made her a diving legend. Lower deck - 6 staterooms on the lower deckMain Deck - main lounge and dining room, dive deck, water level platform, ADA compatible stateroom, and triple stateroom.Sun Deck - sun loungers, alfresco lounge, bar, hot tub, and premium suite.
